The Journey Begins...
Hello, everybody it is great to be speaking to you all once again and this time around I have to update you guys on how my life has been going. Well first off I will like to say that the Citadel Men's Basketball team is 1-1 at this point, and I may say so myself I really do feel good about this upcoming season. So far, I am seeing a lot of positive signs from my team. We were in two hard fought games and that be the type of games that I like, because they always come down to the wire and you really get a great chance to see what a team is really made of. For this upcoming weeks we are going to be extremely busy, because we have a good game coming up this Thursday versus Iowa followed by many more so we really are about to be grinding it out in a second. Other than that I would have to say that life is good, because the semester is almost over and Thanksgiving and Christmas is approaching! When the holidays come around I always get a chance to see some of my favorite family members that I rarely see and that is always a joy for me. Plus, I get a chance to kickback and enjoy life a little bit more and focus on the things that truly do matter to me. So with all that said I will like to wish you a happy Thanksgiving, enjoy your time with your families and be safe. Until next time.....

It's Official!!!

With the first exhibition game behind us I am feeling really happy and excited right now, because that means that the season is finally about to be under way. Speaking of the exhibition game, we won and it was a really good game filled with suspense. I had a really big night I finished with 29 points and 10 boards, and I also hit the game winning basket so you already know that I was super pumped about that. That game is now behind us and right now I am focusing on our next opponent that we are playing on Friday night. I just can't wait until tip-off, but I will be cool and just be ready for when that day comes. Other than that, I was just proud of my teammates for sticking it out and not giving up for one moment, because we had our ups and downs. I'm telling you I could not have done it without my teammates, because those guys help me to be and stay motivated. So, I am hoping to have a big crowd out there to see us do our thing come Friday, because you all know that we are going to do our thing, RIGHT!!! You know that I cannot leave you guys without some type of inspriation for the days, SO HERE IT IS!!!Please Enjoy!!!!!!

The Time Is Now!
Yes Sir! The season has officially kicked off, because we are now starting to have games and that is when the real fun starts. This past weekend we went to High Point, North Carolina and had ourselves a scrimmage. Let me tell you it was so fun to be back on the court. I mean to be back in that type of an atmosphere really had me pumped up, because basketball is my love and I really enjoy what I do. For not one moment do I ever take anything for granted, because you never know what can be taken away from you so I really appreciate everything that I have. Back to the scrimmage, I must say that we did really good and I feel that it was good for some of the younger players on the team to get their feet a little. I was proud of the fact that even though the other team went on their runs, not for one second did we hang our heads or got down. We kept fighting and that was the main reason for us winning the scrimmage. But that is behind us and now we are looking forward to the next challenge, which is an exhibition game Sunday night versus Georgia Southwestern. Believe me, I am ready. Take care and be safe, and I will get back with yall soon.

The Party Begins
When I say the that the party is about to begin many people may think that I am referring to this Halloween weekend, but really I am talking about my team's first sign of real action. This weekend we are heading up to HighPoint to have a scrimmage, and believe me when I say that I am ready. Other than that, I am just excited about getting a chance to play against other people again. After the scrimmage, I plan on having a fun filled weekend. I might hit up some parties with my teammates and just enjoy life. I'm not really into the whole Halloween thing so I do not plan on seeing me as some type of goon or goblin. Also, I am really excited about what's about to go down next week, Everyone Go out and VOTE! Make Your VOICE HEARD!

The Season Is Here
Yes, Yes, Yes! The season is finally here and I am really excited. We kickoff this past Friday night and let me tell you, it was great to be out there on the court once again with my teammates. I was just really happy to be playing again, because it was most definitely a long wait since last season. We continue with two a days which is always great, but I was happy when they were over. Now, I feel like since we have been working so hard I think that this upcoming weekend we really need to kickback and have some fun. I think that I am going to hit up a couple of parties with the fellas and just enjoy life, but other than that you know what I'm doing. Putting in work! Take Care and I will talk to you next time.

One Long Journey
Over the past few months it most definitely had been a long journey for and it almost seemed as if this time would never come, but look at how the time has fly. The season is here and I could not be anymore happier, because I am able to get another chance at doing the thing that I love so much in life which is play basketball. At this moment in time I feel so confident, ready, and focused. After all the long days of grinding and working hard in the off season I finally get a chance to show my improvements, and I am very thankful and appreciative of that too. We will officially be starting practice on Friday around 7:00 p.m. and I can not wait. I just love competition and I just really missed being in that type of an atmosphere. I will make sure to keep everyone updated with how the practices are going, and I will most definitely keep everyone inform on how the Citadel's Men Basketball team is doing. Until next time!

One Step Closer
Hello, everybody! I will like to start this blog off by saying thank you for joining me once again. So far it seems like this week has been going by extremely slow, but that's all good! I have been pretty busy lately with all of these workouts and school work. There has been a lot on my plate, but I can handle it. As everyday goes by it's just another day closer for starting our basketball season, and that is one thing that I am definitely looking forward to. Since we are getting closer to starting the season we are having what we call an unload week, which means that we are giving our bodies a little time to recover from all of those hard workouts that we had in the preseason. I really do love this week, because as a team we get to do a lot of fun things together and I feel that is very important for our team to do. Other than basketball I feel like my life is just good, and I appreciate all of the blessings that I have recieved throughout my lifetime. I am definitely looking forward to this weekend, because I am planning on spending some quality time with my family and friends which is always great for me. Also, I plan on studying for my big test that I have next week, and getting some much needed rest so I feel that I will have a great weekend!

16 days and a wake up
I would like to start this blog of by saying hello to everybody. Whoa! It seems that time is just flying by as usual. I mean before you know it basketball season is going to be here, and I can ensure you that I am indeed ready for it too. As you know today is Wednesday and we all know what happens on Wednesday, we must conquer the beach. Yes, we are going to have another fun filled day of crueling beach workouts, and I do have a surprise for you all. I have some pictures from a regular day at the beach and I will let you be the judge.

As you can see it seems that we always have a exciting day on the beach, and I just can't wait until we go out there later today. On a serious note, I am so ready for the season and right now I have only 16 more days to wait and I am ready, trust me. Before I go I will like to leave you with a photo of a team that is about to really do some special things, and here it goes.

Conquer the Beach
Today is a great day, because on Wednesday's we go out to the beach and have a fun filled day of great workouts. I think that the idea of us getting off campus and working out in a different environment is most definitely a great one. It allows us to also develop that team chemistry, which I feel is vital for a team to have in order to reach the high goals that we all place for ourselves, and for the team. Even though, we are working out extremely hard its not bad, because we are working out at a beach. There is always great weather, a great atmosphere, and it doesn't hurt that we all get to get away for a little bit. We have this saying, "Conquer the Beach" and I feel that by conquering the beach it helps to motivate us all. Because we know that if we can conquer the beach, we can conquer any challenge that we are faced with in life. So with all that said I am ready to go out there today and get it started.

Life is Great
Life is great. Just the other day I found out who will be facing in the Cancun tournament and I am pretty motivated about that. First we will be playing Central Arkansas, then next up it will be Grambling University. Other than that I have just been keeping myself busy with school work and basketball workouts. Also, the other day we had a test shoot for our media guide photos and that was pretty cool, and I cannot wait to see how it turns out. Here's some sample photos for everyone.

I know that we look like we are ready for the season, because we are! This weekend I plan on attending our football game against Princeton so that I can see those Mighty bulldogs represent. After the game I will be celebrating we my friends at some local events, who knows maybe I will see you there. But until then, I am signing off so take care and be safe!

Getting Ready
What else can I say life is great. Currently, I am working hard at school and getting ready for the new basketball season. Since, I was out last year with an injury I feel that my return to the hardwood is much anticipated. I am also really excited about our trip to Cancun, Mexico for this basketball tournament which will be held over the Thanksgiving Holidays. I have never been to Cancun before, but I hear great things about that place and I am just excited about being able to go there with team.

This is a nice picture of the resort that we will be staying at. I only have one thing to say, isn't life grand. Believe me when I say that I am ready for that experience. Even though Cancun seems like a beautiful place, I am focus on taking care of business first. It's either go hard or go home.
